VCU Student Ticketing
VCU students receive free admission to all home Athletics events with proof of Student ID. For all sports except Men’s Basketball, students do not need to claim a ticket in advance and may show their ID at the gate.

All VCU Students have the opportunity to attend VCU Men’s Basketball home games for FREE! Students must redeem a ticket or enter into the Student Lottery for Men’s Basketball tickets in advance by following the steps below.
Women's Basketball

All VCU Students can attend VCU Women's Basketball home games for FREE! Students can come into the entrance at Harrison St. and Broad St. and present their VCU Student ID to the staff to attend the game.

HOW TO GET YOUR STUDENT GAME TICKET
VCU Ticket Accounts have been created for all VCU Students. Please do not create a new account.
How to get a VCU Student Ticket
  1. Login to your VCU Student Ticket Account using the link below.
  2. Select your desired game and click checkout. 
  3. After checkout, your ticket will automatically be sent to your VCU student email.
  4. Through the email, save your digital ticket to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay Wallet.
How to Enter in the Student Lottery
  1. Login to your VCU Student Ticket Account using the link below.
  2. Select your desired game.
  3. After checkout, you will receive an email stating that your entry has been submitted.
  4. The day of the game, if you are awarded a ticket, you will receive an email with your game ticket at least 6 hours prior to tipoff.
Please note: entering into the student lottery does not guarantee that you will be awarded a ticket. In order to receive a ticket to a higher demand game, through the student lottery, you must attend games throughout the season.

Student Ticket Calendar
  • The period in which games are accessible for students to receive a ticket or enter in the student lottery will be open 14 days prior to game day. For most games, students can receive a ticket up until tipoff.
  • For games in which a student lottery occurs, students will have until 12:00 p.m. the day before the game, to enter in the student lottery.
Student Lottery
  • Students are able to enter into the Student Lottery to receive a ticket for the higher demand games. Students have the opportunity to enter until 12:00 p.m. the day before the game. Games that the student lottery process will be used in indicated on the Student Ticket calendar above.
  • Students will receive an email confirming that they have entered into the student lottery for a ticket.
  • Students who are awarded a ticket will receive a game ticket, via email, at least 6 hours prior to the game.

Entering the Game
  • Tickets must be presented on your mobile device to enter the game. Students must also present their student ID at the gate to confirm their student status. 
  • The student entrance is located on the east end of the Siegel Center.  
  • Student seating is general admission.
Student Guest Tickets
  • Students will be able to purchase additional tickets for one additional guest for select games. Student guest tickets, when they are available to purchase, can be found under ‘Student Tickets’ on the VCU Athletics ticket website. The games that student student guest tickets are available are indicated on the claim calendar above.
Please note: Students who claim tickets and no-show to multiple games will risk
losing their privilege to receive student tickets.
